AMOA – Modernizing Management Information Systems

Context and objectives

Global leader in the production of additives and nutritional solutions for animal feed.

Initiate a program to overhaul and modernize financial information systems. The goal is to streamline and standardize processes, as well as to industrialize business references (Finance, Sales, Supply, HR, etc.).

Our Mission

Define Business Needs and “Core Finance” Framework to facilitate integration into the Group’s ERP system. This involves providing expertise, sharing best practices, conducting workshops, and ensuring synthesis and convergence.

Implement Target Management Model across all dimensions (organizations, business processes, and information systems) to standardize financial processes. This includes industrializing and propagating business references across all accounting chains and harmonizing management practices for each of the Group’s activities.

Overhaul the RtR Reporting Chain by simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes. This involves integrating new BI tools and ensuring user adoption.

Secure Integration and Deployment Steps by supporting all stakeholders (Management, internal sponsors, managers, local and regional teams, IT teams, and all program participants). This includes developing communication plans, defining testing strategies, creating change management and transition plans, and providing hypercare support.
Co-Pilot and Support Operational Execution of migrating non-SAP entities to SAP ECC. This includes mapping references, taking over historical data, training on the TOM and ERP, and providing hypercare support.

Co-Pilot the Transformation Program

Results

Operational Rollout of Management Model into detailed specifications, aligning with the target TOM and ERP standards across all industrial chain stages within the Group.

Deployment of CO_PA, SIT, and ML modules to streamline and segment Standard vs. Actual vs. IBP costs, and to calculate and analyze internal margins with a significant depth of analytical axes (15+).

Secure Implementation of Business Need and harmonize management rules into the ERP. This was achieved through SLO strategies, change management, and hypercare support.

Immediate Benefits and Data Quality Improvement following the rollout of the TOM and modernization of implemented Finance applications. This included overhauling and automating the RtR chain, ensuring end-to-end traceability of information, optimizing data sources, reducing the volume of reports, developing analysis and control tools, and revamping Master Data and Reporting governance.
