Context and Objectives
French credit insurance group
The team in charge of the S4/Hana (CARS) tool is faced with a workload (production/project) requiring :
- an interim manager to supervise the central team, support local accounting teams in CARS functional changes (mergers, tax changes, etc.) and work with the IT team.
- a PMO to secure the IFRS17 project on the CARS side (setting up interfaces between S4/Hana and tools for management control, consolidation, reinsurance, etc.)
Our Mission
Central team management (task allocation, career development, appraisals, etc.)
Analysis, prioritization and resolution of tickets created by local teams
Support for local entities with problems encountered in connection with receipts (UAT, Dry Run), maintenance and upgrades to interfaces between S4/Hana and tools for management control, consolidation, reinsurance, etc.
Change management for users (training, functional documentation, etc.)
Cooperate with IT teams to implement necessary upgrades/modifications
Coordination with various departments and project teams to ensure successful completion of the project
Participation in various committees (project, steering, strategic)
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of IFRS 17 projects concerning S4/Hana
Identify and implement actions required to meet project schedule milestones
Response to ad hoc requests from management (studies, analyses, subject instructions)
Results
On-time processing of production and project tickets
Empower local entities by defining key users as relay points
Harmonization of local practices and identification of joint projects
Drawing up a roadmap of CARS developments to be carried out (scope, regulations)
Delivery of interfaces with S4/Hana according to the schedule defined on our arrival
Alignment of transaction processing in accounting, consolidation and controlling
