Major underground gas storage operator in Europe, subsidiary of a leading global energy group
Deployment to 150 users of a new performance management tool (budget preparation, financial management and monitoring of investment projects) in the context of a change of ERP, management model and budget process. Ambitious deployment schedule with no room for maneuver.
Our mission
Project manager at the end of the in-house scoping phase :
- Management of relations with all project stakeholders (project sponsors, group, integrator, publisher, BPO, key users, IT department) and comitology (COPIL, COMOP, stand-up meetings)
- Securing and managing project planning and costs
- Management of links with related projects (ERP, P2P, etc.)
- Participation in design workshops: consistency of technical choices with business needs, overall consistency of the solution, application performance monitoring
- Supervision and support for acceptance testing: preparation of test books, progress monitoring, ticket writing and follow-up.
- Training: preparing training strategy, contributing to training materials, running sessions
- Change management: communication, monitoring of tool adoption, development of ad hoc reports to complement the deployed solution…
- Assistance with the 1st use of the tool: flow monitoring, user support, patch specifications if necessary, etc.
- Preparing the run phase: structuring teams, RACI, contributing to TMA specifications, etc.
Results
Improved fluidity and serenity between all players in a highly constrained environment
Deployment of the tool on schedule: monthly closings carried out in the tool 4 months after the start of development, budget entry carried out in the tool.
Good level of user satisfaction & adoption of the solution
Takeover of the solution “run” by the customer’s internal teams at the end of our mission
